Update: Forest Meadows Power Outage

Update at 5:14pm: PG&E officials are now estimating a 6:30 p.m. restoration time for 130 customers in Forest Meadows.

There is still no reported cause for the outage.

Update at 4:15pm: There are now 130, down from 223 PG&E customers without electricity in the Forest Meadows area of Calaveras County.

PG&E reports that the outage started just after 11 a.m. The utility is hoping to restore power to the balance of those still without by 4:30 p.m. The cause of the outage is still under investigation. It is impacting areas near Larkspur and Dozer lanes.

Update at 2:55pm: According to PG&E, 223 customers remain without power in the Forest Meadows area.

The utility reports that the outage started just after 11 a.m. While the hope was to have everyone restored by 2:45 p.m., the time is now pushed out to sometime after 4:30. The cause of the outage is still under investigation. The outage is impacting parts of Buckhorn and Dogwood drives, and Larkspur, Dozer and Laurel lanes.

Original Post at 11:55am: Forest Meadows, CA — There are 223 PG&E customers without electricity in the Forest Meadows area of Calaveras County.

The subdivision is located above Murphys off Highway 4. PG&E reports that the outage started at 11:10am and the hope is to have everyone restored by 2:45pm. The cause of the outage is still under investigation. It is impacting parts of Buckhorn Drive, Larkspur Lane, Dozer Lane, Dogwood Drive and Laurel Lane.
