Alleged Domestic Violence Victim Escapes With Two-Story Jump

Sonora, CA – Sonora police officers responding to a report of a man falling out of a window wound up making a domestic assault arrest.

Chief Turu VanderWiel recounts that officers dispatched to the 400 block of Greenley Road on Friday evening learned that the victim was attempting to escape an alleged assault by 55-year-old Lori Ann McNaul by jumping from the second-story window.

He says the victim sustained only minor injuries and that McNaul was later located nearby and arrested for corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm, and false imprisonment. Jail personnel assigned her a $40,000 bond.
