San Andreas, CA — 38 year old Jeanine Brown of San Andreas was arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail Sunday evening at 5:20 for driving under the influence.
According to the CHP report Brown was southbound on Pope St. south of Lewis Ave. traveling at a speed of between 35-40 mph when she swerved to avoid hitting a cat running across the street. Brown’s 1999 Ford Ranger proceeded to tag a power pole.
Brown was treated at Mark Twain-St. Joseph’s Hospital prior to her incarceration.
