Cellular Company Allows Customers To Donate Portion Of Bill To Schools

Sonora, CA — Golden State Cellular says it will start allowing customers to select a school of their choice to receive three percent of their recurring monthly bill.

“This is something additional that we wanted to do to recognize the schools in our area,” says Darrell Slocum, GSC Marketing and Communications Director. “In this time of budget crunch, their need is greater than ever.”

Slocum says all schools in the Mother Lode region are included in the program, including those in Calaveras, Tuolumne, Mariposa, Alpine and Amador Counties.
