Pinecrest, CA — There is search underway for two men that are missing in the Pinecrest area.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that Michael Haack and Lowell Smith had reportedly gone hiking near Dodge Ridge. Sgt. Jeff Wilson says Haack’s truck was located by Tuolumne County Search and Rescue personnel last night in the Dodge Ridge parking lot, with foot tracks leading away from the vehicle.
A search is ongoing this morning. It is not immediately known where the two missing hikers are from.
