Pair Of Damaging Fires

Sonora, CA — There were two residential fires yesterday in Tuolumne County.


Fire did $100,000 damage to a home and its contents on Serrano Way during the eight o’clock hour yesterday morning. Much of the structure was saved. The family living in the home is being assisted by the American Red Cross.


Fire also destroyed a single wide mobile home in the Siera Twain Harte Mobile Home Park at 16145 Big Hill Road. The one person in the trailer sustained cuts to his arm after jumping through a window to escape the fire. He was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center.


Both fires are still under investigation.
