Development Projects On The Agenda

Multiple development projects will go up for vote today at the Tuolumne County Supervisors meeting.

The Board will vote whether to approve the Big Oak Flat Village Center. The company Gaudenti Partnership, LLC is hoping to construct six buildings totaling 48,000 sq. ft. for retail space. There would be two retail shops, two restaurants, a grocery store and a home improvement store. The developers would also like to build a 17,400 sq. ft. motel/cabin complex consisting of 16 cabins, a six room inn, and an office. In addition there would be a 12 pump fueling station on the property, 200,000 gallon public water supply tank, and a parking lot.

The Supervisors will vote whether to approve the 219 home Dry Creeks Subdivision in Jamestown. Plans call for over 200 residential lots and an assisted living center in the Golf Links Road area.

The Board will decide whether to rezone a 15 acre piece of Sierra Pacific Industries property in Standard for Commercial Use. It could be used for a potential shopping center.
There will also be discussion about the coordination land use process, and the Board will select two candidates to sit on a land use committee.

Today’s meeting begins at 9am in downtown Sonora.
