Sonora, CA — The Sonora City Council will meet tonight. One item up for vote is approval of a $3 surcharge on vehicle parking violations. The state imposed the $3 fee when the recent budget was approved. If the Council approves the increase, it will take effect tomorrow. Tonight’s meeting begins at 5pm at Sonora City Hall.
Prior to the meeting, the Council will hold a special session at 4pm to discuss Council goals for the upcoming year. Both meetings are open to the public.
