Twain Harte, CA — Because of the widespread power outages, a warming station will be set up at the Twain Harte Community Services District Fire Station starting at 2pm today.
It is located at 18781 Cedar Road. The Tuolumne County Office of Emergency Services reports that the Mother Lode Chapter of the American Red Cross will be on hand to provide assistance to residents. The warming station will remain open until the power is restored, so residents will be able to stay overnight. The Red Cross is bringing in blankets and cots.
Also, residents in Sonora can seek shelter at the Senior Center on Greenley Road (next to the library) until 4pm today.
