Weather Could Slow Garbage Pickup

Sonora, CA — Garbage removal is running on schedule for the most part in Tuolumne County, but some isolated areas may experience a delay.

Waste Management reports that the trucks are chained up, but some areas of the county may still be inaccessible due to the current conditions. If you have regular pickup on Monday, and a truck has not picked up the trash by this evening, pickup will have to wait until next Monday. The same information applies to Burns Refuse customers in the greater Tuolumne region.

Moore Brothers Scavenger Company reports that it hopes to have everyone picked up in the greater Groveland area by this evening. Those that aren’t picked up today will likely be picked up tomorrow in the south county.
