Students Approached At Bus Stop

Sonora, CA — The Sonora Police Department is investigating a case where two Sonora Elementary students were offered a ride yesterday by unknown suspects.

The students were approached before school at a bus stop at the intersection of Snell Street and Spring Hill Road. The students were told by the suspects that the bus wasn’t coming today and were encouraged to accept a ride. When the students said “no,” the suspects offered again. Inside the vehicle were a female driver and male passenger. They both had brown hair and were between 20 to 30 years old.

The vehicle is described as a newer dark blue vehicle with rear tinted windows. The vehicle left the area and traveled up Spring Hill Road. Contact the Sonora PD 532-8141 with any information.
