Issues Facing South County

Groveland, CA — District Four Tuolumne County Supervisor John Gray will be the guest on Mother Lode Views this weekend.

Gray, who resides in the Groveland area, will highlight some economic development projects proposed for the south county area. A recent project up for debate was the 37,000 square ft. lodging facility set to be built on Highway 120, approximately seven miles east of Groveland. There are also plans for a “Yosemite Gateway Project” that would include lodging and entertainment on Highway 120 in Big Oak Flat.

Gray will also give his opinion on coordinating with state and federal agencies on land use issues, whether some county fees should be reduced and other topics. The interview is part of a five week series talking with all five members of the Board of Supervisors. The series will conclude next week with District Five Supervisor Dick Pland.
