Sonora, CA– A Sonora Union High School District bus wedged up against a power pole on the corner of Church and Shepherd Street is causing a minor traffic delay.
According to Sonora Police, the school bus did not have enough room to make the right turn from Church Street to Shepherd and is resting on the power pole. No injuries were reported and no students were in the bus at the time of the incident. As a precaution, the police department is waiting for PG & E to arrive and give clearance to move the bus.
No damage was done to the bus or the power pole and no outages have been reported.
