Back To School

Sonora, CA– Students in Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties are returning to school this week.

Sonora High School Principal Todd Dearden is looking forward to the new school year and said, “We have about 330 freshman coming in and we should be a little over 1,100 students. We’re excited and ready to have a good year.  We just installed the new lights in Dunlavy stadium and turned those on Friday for our “Let there Be Light Night” and it was outstanding.  The lights are beautiful.”
