Comcast Upgrading System

Sonora, CA — Comcast plans to upgrade its offerings in the City of Sonora.

Comcast representative Philip Arndt told the City Council Monday night that the company plans to improve its infrastructure next year to allow for increased cable channels, broadband internet and phone services. Comcast plans to upgrade its system during the second quarter of 2011 and it should be completed by the end of 2011. It was noted that pricing for internet and phone services will be comparable to other area competitors.

Comcast officials will speak to the Tuolumne County Supervisors today about planned upgrades in the county jurisdiction.
