Sonora Physician Passes Away

Sonora, CA — A longtime Sonora family practice physician has passed away.

Dr. Warren Borgquist died suddenly over the weekend at his home. Dr. Borgquist was a family physician in Sonora for over 35 years. Most recently, he was a physician at Forest Road Health and Wellness Center’s Primary Care Clinic. For 30 years prior to that, he was the primary practitioner for Sierra Family Practices.

Dr. Borgquist helped birth more than 2,000 babies. He was also instrumental in helping to develop the Birth Center at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Dr. Borgquist is survived by his wife Judy, their four children and many grandchildren. Funeral services are pending. Terzich and Wilson is handling the arrangements.
