Local Movie Premiere

Murphys, CA– The long-awaited screening of the movie, “A River of Skulls” comes to the Murphys Creek Theater this weekend.

The film, a dramatic story set during the California Gold Rush, made its debut last night and will continue through Sunday, August 15th. Filmed in Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties, “A River of Skulls” director Suza Lambert Bowser is especially grateful to Sheep Ranch, Murphys and Columbia for their generous approval and support.

The screening is co-sponsored by the Resource Connection’s Calaveras Crisis Center. Tickets are available at the Murphys Creek Theater. For more information call 728-8422.
