Taking Pride In Sonora High

Sonora, CA – The Sonora High Football team is cleaning up campus this weekend.

Head Coach Bryan Craig says a three day boot camp starts today. “We’re going to clean, we’re going to paint, and we’re going to take pride in this campus,” says Craig. “We’re going to break the team up into groups to accomplish different projects, and we’re hoping that there will be a lot of team bonding.”

The football team also plans to pick weeds around campus and make sure that there is not any trash sitting around. The team will stay at the school all weekend. The players are scheduled to hear a speech from Sheriff Jim Mele on the importance of staying out of trouble, and a talk from a CHP Officer regarding the dangers of driving drunk.

Coach Craig says the one thing the team will not be doing this weekend…is picking up a football.
