San Andreas, CA — Budget cuts and layoffs in Calaveras County have caused the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department to change their hours.
The new business hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and closed weekends. Previously the business hours were 7am to 5 pm. Concealed Weapons Permit Renewals will be by appointment only on Wednesdays between 9 am to 3:30 pm. Live scan applicant fingerprinting is available by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 am and 3:30 pm.
