Copperopolis, CA — An Angels Camp man has been arrested for allegedly burglarizing a Copperopolis home.
The Sheriff’s Department had been investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence at 103 Main Street back in late May. A witness saw a black BMW parked in front of the residence and a male leaving with what appeared to be a white pillow case over his shoulder. The investigation led detectives to the home of 34 year-old James Brucks, and the victim’s stolen property was located at his residence.
Brucks was arrested and booked into Calaveras County Jail.
