Valley Springs, CA — There were multiple Calaveras County arson fires over the Fourth of July Holiday weekend.
Friday night a quarter acre grass fire was started in Valley Springs along Butler Road. Saturday morning, just after midnight, a spot arson fire was extinguished along Butler Road. 20 minutes later was a third arson fire in the area, along Quail Oaks in Valley Springs. Saturday evening at 10:30, a half acre arson fire was started in the 6600 block of Usher Lane in Rancho Calaveras.
The incidents are under investigation.
