More Marijuana Discovered

Sonora, CA —  It is already a record breaking year for marijuana eradication in Tuolumne County.

223,555 marijuana plants were eradicated in isolated areas of Tuolumne County this week.

For comparison, approximately 200,000 plants were eradicated last summer.

The Tuolumne Narcotics Team, U.S Forest Service, The State Department of Fish and Game, the Department of Justice Campaign Against Marijuana Planting and the U.S Department Bureau of Land Management and other agencies participated in the sting.

The marijuana’s estimated street value is $447,100,000. No arrests were made.
