Valley Springs Community Plan Vote

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Supervisors are expected to approve a blueprint for growth and development in Valley Springs on Tuesday.

The Calaveras Council of Governments received over $200,000 to create a Valley Springs Community plan that will be included as part of the greater General Plan.

The Supervisors will also consider increasing fees for the collection of bio-solids at the Rock Creek Solid Waste Facility. The proposal calls for a fee of $28 per ton during fiscal year 2010/11 and gradually increasing to $40 per ton by fiscal year 2016/17.

Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9am at the Government Center in San Andreas.
