Sierra Winter Storm Watch

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Sierra Nevada from Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening.

Three to six inches of snowfall is expected at 6000 feet. Six to eight inches of snow is likely above 6000 feet. Eight to twelve inches of accumulation is likely to fall above 8000 feet.

Winds will blow from 20 to 30 mph with gusts from 30 to 45 mph.

Unsettled weather will likely continue into Friday.
