Sierra Winter Storm Warning Issued

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the Sierra Nevada through 6pm Wednesday.

Snow levels start around 4000 feet.

Six to twelve inches of snow is likely at 5000 feet. One to two feet of snow is possible in the higher elevations.

Sustained winds of fifteen to thirty mph are to be expected, however, there have been occasional gusts of thirty-five to seventy mph over the higher ridgetops.
