Jamestown Stabbing

Jamestown, CA – The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office says a mother was stabbed by her daughter during a dispute in Jamestown Thursday evening.

Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Sgt. Jeff Willson says deputies responded to Golden Dove Lane shortly after 5:30pm and found that 40-year-old Buffy Ann French had a 10 inch laceration on her right arm. Her 13 year-old daughter was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and was later released to the Probation Department.

The mother refused medical attention. It is not immediately known what type of knife was used during the dispute.
