Sonora, CA — A two vehicle accident slowed traffic on Hwy 108 during the eight o’clock hour this morning.
According to CHP Officer Mike Remmel the initial investigation indicates that 58 year old Randall Haggard of Sonora was traveling westbound on Hwy 108 at approximately 50mph when he ran the red light at the S. Washington St. exit. 70 year old Ingrid Postelle of Jamestown was traveling eastbound attempting to make a left hand turn onto S. Washington St. when she collided with Haggard’s vehicle.
Postelle suffered minor injuries and was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment. Haggard was not injured.
