Tioga Pass Reopens

Yosemite Valley, CA–  After a temporary closure, Tioga Pass in Yosemite National Park has reopened.

The road in the northern portion of the park, had been temporarily closed due to snow and ice. It opened Friday at 1 pm.

Park officials say the Tioga Road can close at any time due to winter weather and hazardous driving conditions. Visitors are urged to drive with caution as there may still be ice and snow along the roadway. The Glacier Point Road remains closed for the season.
