Sonora, CA — T.U.D. will hear an update on the creation of a study examining the way water is transported via the ditch system.
In 2010 T.U.D. received a $350,000 grant from the Sierra Nevada Conservancy to study the ditch system and create a comprehensive plan for its management.
The Board will hear a status update at its meeting on Tuesday at 7pm in the T.U.D. meeting room.
The study will not be completed until 2012.
In other business, the Board will decide whether to extend its employment agreement with General Manager Pete Kampa through 2016. Kampa is currently under contract through December 4, 2012.
