Mount Brow Road Closure

Mount Brow Road is closed until 1pm today at the Jamestown Road intersection.

The Tuolumne County Public Works Department says PG&E crews are making some type of repairs. A PG&E spokesperson was contacted and cannot confirm what is taking place. There are no reports of customers without power in the region.

Emergency vehicles and school buses will be allowed through the area. The Public Works Department says the roadway should be completely cleared by early afternoon.

Update at 3:30 pm:  PG&E Spokesperson Nicole Leibelt says the road is now open.  Crews replaced a power pole in the area.
