Newsom Brings Message To Sonora

Sonora, CA — California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom spoke to a full house at the Sonora Opera Hall Wednesday afternoon.

Newsom, the former Mayor of San Francisco, spoke for 30 minutes on issues such as the economy, healthcare, labor and natural resources. Afterwards he took questions from the audience. The noontime event was hosted by the Tuolumne County Democratic Club.

Newsom is also speaking to students at Columbia College this afternoon.

Before the Sonora Opera Hall event, Newsom made a stop by the KVML Studios to record a 30 minute Mother Lode Views show that will air this weekend on Star 92.7, 93.5 KKBN and 1450 KVML.

Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o’clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9 a.m. on STAR 92.7.
