CHP Checks Drivers

Jamestown, CA — Around 700 cars were screened Saturday night during a DUI and Drivers License Checkpoint carried out by the California Highway Patrol.

Vehicles were stopped from 7pm-1am along Highway 108 near downtown Jamestown. The CHP reports that there were no arrests for DUI. However, 10 drivers were given citations for other violations. The tickets were handed out for things like failing to have a drivers license to not having proper vehicle registration.
