Mono Way Widening

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors will hear a presentation Tuesday about plans to widen Mono Way.

The project has been discussed in recent months by the City of Sonora, and the Supervisors will talk about whether to enter into a cooperative agreement with the City to help secure funding and finalize plans. The current proposal calls for widening Mono Way to five lanes from Greenley Road to Fir Drive.

The Supervisors will also continue a public hearing on proposed changes to the Supervisorial district maps and talk about whether to increase garbage collection rates for Waste Management customers.

Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9am in downtown Sonora. It will be streamed live in the multimedia section of myMotherLode.com.
