La Grange, CA — A La Grange man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday night.
The CHP reports that 56-year-old Steven Vella was riding along Carmelita Lane north of Buena Vista Drive when he lost control of the bike and collided with a rock embankment. Vella was ejected from the custom built motorcycle and landed in a nearby grass field. He was later medi-flighted to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
The CHP says that Vella was cited for D.U.I. The accident happened at around 6:40pm.
