Jamestown, CA — State decisions are having an impact on the Sierra Conservation Center in Jamestown.
S.C.C. Warden Frank Chavez and Spokesperson Lt. David Fish will be the guests on Mother Lode Views this weekend. The two will talk about how the state’s decision to reduce the inmate population will impact the prison. AB 109 calls for a reduction of 34,000 inmates over a two year period.
The two will also talk about the firefighter program that is in conjunction with CAL Fire, and the problem of inmates smuggling in illegal substances and cell phones.
