MRI Building Arrives

A new Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) facility has arrived at the campus of Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital.

The new Imaging Center, with its General Electric 1.5 Tesla MRI system, will eventually replace the mobile unit now in use. The upgrade is designed to reduce expenses long term and improve the patient experience. Due to its design and technology, the building was manufactured offsite and arrived in San Andreas Wednesday morning. It was placed on the foundation with a crane.

The new facility is expected to open sometime next month.
