Fire Crews Make Progress

Columbia, CA – Air resources responding to a grass fire east of Oakdale have now returned back to base.

Much of the blaze has been extinguished, but six engines are still on scene for mop-up. The fire fire is estimated to be around 10 acres. The cause is unknown. It is located in the area of Orange Blossom Road and Shell Road. No structures were damaged.
