Search Suspended For Missing Fishermen

The search has sadly ended for the missing fishermen whose boat capsized off the coast of Mexico.

The Associated Press reports that the Mexican Navy has suspended the search, and the U.S. Coast Guard has ended its aerial efforts. A C-130 Hercules aircraft had been called in from Sacramento to search an 803 square mile area off the Sea of Cortez.

The boat overturned on July 3rd. Two of the seven still missing are from Twain Harte, Al Mein and Mark Dorland. Two survivors are from Sonora, Bob Higgins and Steve Sloneker.
