Yosemite Missing Man

Yosemite, CA — A man is missing in Yosemite National Park.

Park officials say George Penca of Hawthorne, California was last seen Friday near Upper Yosemite Falls Trail. The 30-year-old left on a day-hike with a church group and failed to return. A park helicopter assisted ground search and rescue crews throughout the weekend.

Anyone with information on Penca is urged to call the Yosemite Search and Rescue Command Post at 209-372-0311.
