Cottonwood Road Construction

Sonora, CA — Construction will start this week on Cottonwood Road in the Stanislaus National Forest.

Forest Service road crews will apply a chip seal to the road surface from the Basin Creek Bridge to the River Ranch Campground. Cottonwood Road has been deteriorating because of a combination of weather, snow removal equipment and general use. The work will begin June 1st and is expected to be completed on June 15.
