New VP Of Medical Affairs

San Andreas, CA — Mark Twain Saint Joseph’s Hospital has a new Vice President of Medical Affairs. Dr. Sean Anderson has accepted the role.

Dr. Anderson has been practicing anesthesiology and pain management at the hospital for the past five years. He will continue his clinical practice in addition to his new position.

“These are challenging times for healthcare professionals” said Dr. Anderson. “Our industry has been faced with certain conflicting goals: quality vs. cost, stability vs. change, and independence vs. mutual accountability, to name a few. Over the past several months, I have spoken with many physician leaders and seasoned executives at our hospital and at various conferences. I am humbled and honored by their encouragement to take on this challenge.”

MTSJH President Feliciano Jiron states, “We are confident that Dr. Anderson will be an excellent match for the VPMA position and a strong asset to both the medical staff and the executive team.”

MTSJH has 34 active physicians practicing in 24 specialties.
