Sacramento, CA– Governor Jerry Brown has declared a State of Emergency in Tuolumne County.

It is one of 19 California counties today that have been issued an emergency proclamation due to severe March storms. Neighboring Mariposa and Stanislaus Counties were also issued emergency proclamations due to heavy rain, high winds and flooding last month.

These counties are now eligible to receive state funding to reimburse costs related to the cleanup. The State of Emergency was requested by the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors March 25th.
