Sonora, CA – Lumsden Road in the Stanislaus National Forest is temporarily closed.
The Forest Service reports that recent heavy rain and snow caused rock and debris slides approximately eight miles east of Groveland. The road will remain closed while Forest Service staff assesses the damage, removes debris and makes necessary repairs. It is unknown how long that will take.
