Most Storm Outages Restored

Sonora, CA — 55 PG&E customers remain without power in Tuolumne County following the winter storm system that passed through the region late last week, says company spokesperson Nicole Liebelt. The remaining outages are primarily in isolated areas of the county were crews are still having access issues.

In Calaveras County, most all outages from last week’s storms are now restored. However, approximately 400 customers in the Murphys area lost power this morning in a new outage that was reported at 10am. It is not immediately known when power will be restored in that area.

PG&E crews will likely stay busy in the coming days when a new storm system arrives in the region late Thursday and into the weekend. Snow is expected to fall at around 1,500 ft.
