Thousands Still Remain Without Power

Sonora, CA– Thousands remain without power this afternoon across the Mother Lode.

12,700 are without electricity in Tuolumne County. The East Sonora/Phoenix Lake area has the most outages, with 7,300 PG&E customers in the dark. Twain Harte has 2,500 without, Groveland has 1,500, Soulsbyville has 800, Columbia 450 and Jamestown has 35.

In Calaveras County, Arnold still has 7,100 customers without power, West Point has 1,300, Murphys has 1,300, Railroad Flat has 800 and Mountain Ranch has 550.

Because the outages are so widespread, PG&E does not have an estimated time of restoration. Customers that would like to report an outage or try to receive information on a specific neighborhood can call 1-800-PGE-5000.
