Tree Falls On Power Pole

Sonora, CA — Sonora police are blocking off several roads after a big oak tree comes crashing down and brings power lines with it.

Police report they have closed off the intersection of Hope Lane, Summit Avenue and East Oakside Drive. They are asking motorists and the public to avoid the area as the wires are live and dangerous.

Police say a PG & E crew is on the way to try to fix the downed lines. There is no word on what cause the tree to fall.
