Olsen Hosts Summit

Sonora, CA — Issues surrounding timber and water took center stage at the 12th annual Natural Resources Summit put on by TuCare.

The event was held this morning at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. The event was co-hosted by 25th District Assemblywoman Kristin Olsen. “We had great speakers, and I am hopeful that people learned a lot today about the importance of protecting our forests,” she says.

During a question and answer session, Olsen was asked about topics like “coordination,” and state regulations.

Other speakers included T.U.D. General Manager Pete Kampa, Chris Horgan from Stewards of the Sequoia, Eric Eisenhammer of the Coalition of Energy Users, and U.S. Congressman Tom McClintock.
