Highway Fire Under Investigation

Knights Ferry, CA — You may noticed a burned out center divider along Highway 108.


There was an early morning fire that occurred just after midnight yesterday near the Tulloch Road intersection. It was isolated to the center divider, and stretched approximately four acres. The area is located just east of Tulloch Road. Officials report this morning that the cause is still under investigation. CAL Fire units responded from Standard, Blanchard, Copperopolis and Green Springs. Local crews also responded from Oakdale and Chinese Camp. No injuries were reported.
