Changes In Agriculture

Sonora, CA — Trends in farming and agriculture will be discussed this weekend.


Mother Lode Views will feature Tuolumne County Agriculture Commissioner Vicki Helmar, Tuolumne County Farm Bureau President Sasha Farkas and new regional 4H Youth Development Advisor JoLynn Miller.


Tuolumne County’s top four agriculture commodities are cattle, turkeys, timber and rangeland. The show will also highlight new state and federal legislation that will impact farming, how farm operations are regulated locally, and changes within 4H program.
