Sonora, CA – CHP reports an officer attempted to stop a motorcycle and that triggered a chase.

It happened just before 9 o’clock on Friday night on Tinnin Road. The officer tried to pull over 43 year old Charles Anderson for a minor traffic violation. That’s when CHP says Anderson took off. They say in his attempt to flee he lost control of his 2012 Yamaha motorcycle and crashed just west of Wards Ferry Road.
